Sun’s out fun’s out: summer events near Wayfarer

It’s almost the official start of summer and there are awesome events happening near Wayfarer or only a short drive away! June 19th is the official opening weekend of the Marina Del Rey waterbus. For only a buck, enjoy a ride and those refreshing marina breezes on this open-air water taxi that makes 8 stops throughout the marina. Check out the schedule now. Looking for a fun date night? Check out Shakespeare On The Bluff, presented by Loyola Marymount University. They open for their fifth season with “Julius Caesar” performances on June 24 and 25 and “The Tempest” on July 22 and 23. The 90-minute plays are free and take place under the stars, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets. The shows start at 8 p.m. But you have to RSVP beforehand. Also, on June 19th and June 26th, enjoy live music at the Fisherman’s Village weekend concerts on Sundays. There’s nothing like live music and great scenery. This summer is already shaping up to be pretty awesome!
